We have pleasure in informing you that the renewed version of the mathematical journal
"Folia Mathematica"
will appear once or twice a year starting from January 2003
We greatly encourage you to submit papers containig new results or new proofs of known results in the following fields
- Control Theory and Calculus of Variations
- Complex Analysis and Algebraic Geometry
- Differential Geometry and Theory of Foliations
- Differential Equations
- Functional Analysis
- Nonsmooth Analysis and Optimization
- Mathematical Biology
- Mathematical Modelling
- Probability Theory
- Real Functions and General Topology
Research articles pertaining to the above fields will also be considered.
Each submitted paper is twice reviewed. Apart from the paperback edition we will publish the accepted papers in the electronic version of Folia Mathematica provided the author have given their consent.
Some papers containig minor but still interesting to a wide mathematical audience results may be published only by electronic means.
Call for such papers is directed mainly to students and younger researchers.
The work of the Editors will be supported by the Editorial Board.
